Announcing the new, improved myfuture website

Education Services Australia are thrilled to announce the launch of the new myfuture website with exciting, new features to complement the popular and existing features of the service.

At the heart of myfuture’s success is innovation—we’re constantly looking to improve and to value add to the service. We’ll also continue to add changes to the design and imagery to enhance the user experience for desktop, tablet and mobile users.

In order to deliver personalised content in the future, the new website requires all users to log in to access the service. Existing users of myfuture can use their My career profile credentials to log in or, alternatively, you can create an account using the online sign up form. By signing up, it will ensure you receive personalised content in the future.

We have also responded to users’ requests for other types of information and have included new content, such as entrepreneurship, online networking, work readiness and social engagement. Further new and original content will be added over coming months from industry expert authors.

We have redesigned the popular career bullseyes to include the latest release of occupations, with direct, interactive links to the full occupation profile pages.

Some features of the existing site will be discontinued or phased out over time. Four activities in the My career profile tool which don’t influence a user’s suggested occupations results have been archived. They include: Dream job; Values; Attributes & Life balance. Users will be able to record similar information in the new personal, digital portfolio that will be released later in 2016.

Key businesses and associations now have the ability to showcase traditional, non-traditional and emerging career pathways and industry-specific content and articles. We are delighted to showcase the broad range of career opportunities with our launch partners, Qantas and the Australian Apprenticeships Ambassadors Programme. New business and association profiles will continue to be added over the forthcoming weeks and months.

We have simplified the industry information providing standard comparison indicators as well as trending job prospects with links to related occupations and associated industries.

So whether you’re still discovering your passion, want to change career paths, or just hoping to get ahead at your current job, myfuture has the information to help you to take charge of your career.
